JACKSON HEIGHTS SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT
Jackson Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church is a spiritual-growing church preparing to meet God. It is a multi-ethnic church committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We support a ministry that recognizes all races and national origins.
Our congregation is a fellowship where faith and family are fostered. We are committed to reflecting to the world, the love and character of God as is manifested in His Son Jesus Christ. In fulfillment of our commitment, we seek the knowledge of all the dimensions of God’s love, as our compelling motivation to reach others by the use of our gifts and talents.
We hope you will enjoy browsing through our website. Better yet, we hope that you will visit us in person.
In the winter of 2007 we became focused on a new vision as we endeavor to minister to each other and our community. Jackson Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church is truly a place focused on giving the gifts of friendship and salvation to anyone who will accept it. You may come as you are and find a warm welcome, a smile, and maybe even a hug. Ministry opportunities abound here and new things are happening every week. Come and find a place to connect with people.
I don't know what your experience with Seventh-day Adventists has been in the past, but whether you are a happy, life-long member of the church, someone who has been deeply hurt in the past, or simply seeking for a deeper experience with God with little or no previous Adventist contact, I think you'll like what you'll find here and in our worship. The bottom line is: you are welcome, you are needed, and you will find Christ in the center of all we do.
We are located at 72-25 Woodside Avenue, Woodside, New York 11377, or for more information, call the Church office at (718) 424-4544.
About Seventh-day Adventists
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
